Over
the past few years JessEm products
have been written about in many magazines in the United States,
Canada and Europe.
Here
are some of the comments magazines and woodworkers themselves have
made...
"Our
first impression when we pulled the Mast-R-Lift out of the box was,
Wow, that's pretty. It's beauty isn't just skin deep, though, as
this lift's performance backed up that impression in spades."
- Dave Campbell with Garry Smith,
from Wood Magazine's article "Router-R-Lift Roundup".
In
an article written about the Rout-R-Lift -- "If you do a lot
of router joinery, this level of precision is welcome indeed and
worth the $200 price".
Anatole Burkin, Fine Woodworking Magazine.
An
article written by Danny Proulx in Cabinetmaker magazine gives the
Rout-R-Lift a "five star rating" and Mr. Steve Gomez
from TruStile Doors Inc. in Colorado who was interviewed for the
article bought six Rout-R-Lifts for his plant, which manufacturers
high-end interior doors, said the Lift was "awesome".
He also said JessEm "didn't cheap out" and that the tool
"looks more like a $300.00 unit." Mr.Gomez also gave the
Rout-R-Lift a "five star endorsement"- Excerpts
taken from Cabinetmaker Magazine, April 2000, written by Danny Proulx,
Cabinetmaker for 30 years, magazine writer and author.
"I've
installed a 3 horse Elu plunge router into it (Rout-R-Lift),
making changing bits easy. The first demonstration was in a box
joinery class setting up a lock miter bit. Under the best of conditions
this set-up could be like a root canal and take hours. Three of
my students were so impressed with the poise and finesse of my set-up
that they bought one that day."- Jerry Konicek, Woodworker
Acadamy, Alameda, CA
"It
isn't very often that a tool has impressed me to the point of sending
a note to the manufacturer. But your router table is the rare exception.
I have been using it for all types of work, including cutting thru
dado, rabbet and other types of edge forming work. Additionally,
the unique slide action of the Rout-R-Slide allowed other
wood machining that has been impossible on my regular table. And,
the accuracy is excellent." "I could go on for pages about
how satisfied I am with your table router system. But let me just
say the performance is superior."- Danny Proulx, Cabinetmaker
for 30 years, magazine writer and author.
"As
the proud owner of one of your fine Rout-R-Lifts, let me say
"excellent craftsmanship"! Its refreshing to find a North
American tool with such precision and obvious care in its production".-
David C. Smith, Oregon, U.S.A.
"You
have put a lot of thought into producing a product that is a pleasure
to use, being simple to adjust and accurate in all modes. What a
pleasure to have a product that does everything the manufacturer
claims it can do. I have even produced half blind Dovetails using
the Rout-R-Slide. This table is an asset to any workshop."
- David Lees, Carpenter and Woodturner for over 30 years,
Head of Carpentry and Job Training College England - now living
in Victoria, BC.
